Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment for any reason, you must provide me with a minimum of 24 hour notice. Canceling without 24 hours notice or no-showing for an appointment will result in a $75 fee. 

Privacy Practices 

All New Patient and Follow Up Consultation forms will be completed and submitted through Practice Better, a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform I use to ensure your medical information is kept private and confidential. I highly value patient-practitioner confidentiality and will protect your privacy at every step. I will not disclose your medical information for any purpose not listed here without your written authorization. Any written authorization that you provide can be revoked at any time with written notice to me at allison.filepp.rd@gmail.com. I may use medical information about you to provide you with medical treatment or services. I may disclose medical information about you to doctors, nurses, technicians, or other health care providers to assist them in treating you. I may use and disclose your medical information for payment purposes. A bill may be sent to you or a third-party payer. The information on or accompanying this bill may include your medical information.

Medical Nutrition Therapy may be offered only by a licensed Registered Dietitian as stated in VT state law. All recommendations made on this website are general wellness advice and are not intended to be followed without first consulting with your personal Registered Dietitian or Physician for approval. As with any nutrition practice, some recommendations may not prove successful for you. Nutrition recommendations offered here are not intended to treat or diagnose any medical or mental health condition.
